A link may be commercial even when the review is critical. Conversely, the absence of an affiliate link does not mean a product was excluded from consideration.
How commercial relationships are labelled

Attribution, cookies and retailer terms
Affiliate URLs can contain campaign or publisher identifiers. After a click, the destination or affiliate network may use cookies or similar attribution technology under its own privacy notice. Cookie windows, eligible actions, cancellation rules and commission rates vary by program.
Prices, exchange rates, stock, shipping, tax, plan inclusions, renewal terms and discounts can change after publication. Check the seller’s current terms and final checkout before committing. DopeTech is not the seller merely because it displays or links to an offer.
The editorial boundary
- Partners cannot purchase a score, award, positive verdict or position in an editorial ranking.
- Commercial staff and systems may optimise link availability, but should not dictate conclusions.
- Where revenue potential creates a material conflict, it is disclosed or the assignment is changed.
- Affiliate performance data may inform reader-interest analysis, not retroactively rewrite test findings.

Other valuable relationships
Free or discounted products, event travel, meals, cloud credits, extended trials, briefings and early access can create perceived influence even without cash payment. Material support is disclosed on the relevant page. Products supplied for review remain subject to the same critical evaluation standard.
Lead-generation arrangements for enterprise services are disclosed when DopeTech may be paid for a qualified enquiry or introduction. A referral is not due diligence, procurement advice or a guarantee that a vendor will fit a buyer’s requirements.

Common questions
Does using an affiliate link cost me more?
DopeTech does not add a separate commission charge, but sellers control their own prices and may present different offers by time, location or account. Compare the final terms.
Do commissions change review scores?
They must not. Commercial availability may affect which buying options are displayed, but it cannot buy a rating, verdict or ranking position.
Are displayed prices guaranteed?
No. Availability and pricing can change. The retailer’s checkout price, inclusions, currency and terms control the transaction.
